About Charlie Vincent


Charles Vincent is Executive Director of Spur Impact, a Delaware nonprofit whose mission is to connect and inspire young professionals to make an impact in their career and community. In his capacity as Executive Director, Charlie manages a large team of nearly 100 volunteers and, together with the Spur Impact Board of Directors, leads the efforts to make Spur Impact initiatives, including the #MILLSUMMIT young professional leadership conference and Delaware Gives fundraising platform, successful.

An attorney by trade, Charlie brings a professional understanding and perspective to Spur Impact's supporters, donors, volunteers, and other constituents. His experiences as a corporate litigator, combined with his marketing and business background, enable him to work collaboratively and effectively with hundreds of young and seasoned professionals across the spectrum of large and small public, private, government, and nonprofit organizations.

Charlie received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Widener University School of Law. He earned a B.A., cum laude, in Business Administration from Franklin & Marshall College. After law school, Charlie clerked for the Delaware Supreme Court before heading into private practice as a corporate litigator for several years. He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA), the Terry Carey Inn of Court, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (National and Brandywine Chapter). Charlie served as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of the DSBA (2010-2012) also was Treasurer (2012-2013). He remains a member of the Board on Professional Responsibility (September 2017 to present) and Vice Chair of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Subcommittee (September 2012 to present). He was named a Delaware Rising Star by Super Lawyers (2012, 2013) and a Delaware Business Times 40 under 40 (2015). He has previously served as a board member of the Next Generation of the Delaware Community Foundation (2014-2017) and was a member of the Wilmington Jaycees. In 2022, Charlie was honored with the The James H. Sills Jr. Leadership Award from DCRAC and Spur Impact was recognized as a nonprofit of the year by AFP-Brandywine in connection with its support of Delaware’s statewide giving day event, which raised more than $2.6 million for more than 450 nonprofits serving Delaware in March 2022.

Currently, Charlie serves as Secretary of the board for the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA) and sits on the development and public policy committees. He is also a Commissioner on the Governor's Commission on Community and Volunteer Service in Delaware where he serves as Treasurer. In 2022, Charlie was inducted in the Dover Air Force Base Honorary Commander program with the 512th Airlift Wing.
