Client Alert: The pending FLSA overtime rule changes scheduled to go into effect on December 1 are on hold. As many nonprofits and businesses are aware, these changes would have (among other things) raised the salary threshold to qualify for exempt status from $23,660 to $47,476 per year. These changes would have significantly impacted the budgets for many nonprofits in Delaware and elsewhere. Those changes have been put on hold and will no longer go into effect next month.
